1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Tally app and website ("Service"), operated by Solid Software B.V., based in the Netherlands ("we", "us"). By using Tally, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

Tally is open to all users. There is no age restriction, but users under 16 should have parental consent. The Service is not intended for illegal activities or for use in any jurisdiction where such use would be unlawful.

3. User Accounts & Data

• You must provide accurate information (email, username; location is optional).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• Your tallies are visible only to your direct friends. Usernames are visible to all users for friend search.

4. Free & Paid Services

Tally is currently free to use and will always offer a free tier (with ads). A paid Pro subscription may be introduced in the future, with additional features. Refunds are only provided if the app is demonstrably broken and cannot be used as intended.

5. Acceptable Use

• Do not use Tally for any illegal activities, including but not limited to tallying illegal games or activities.
• Do not upload or share illegal, adult, or otherwise prohibited content (including but not limited to child pornography, revenge porn, or any content violating applicable laws or app store policies).
• Do not abuse, harass, or impersonate others.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.

6. User Content & Moderation

You are responsible for any content you create or share. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws. Tallies are private to your friends; usernames are public for friend search.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in Tally and its content (except user-generated content) belong to Solid Software B.V. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Tally is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solid Software B.V. is not liable for any damages arising from your use of Tally.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable laws. You may delete your account at any time; your data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of Tally after changes means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands, unless otherwise required by law or app store policy.
